🏫 PaRK IS has 3 campuses in Lisbon — you're viewing Praça de Espanha
PaRK International School operates three campuses across Lisbon. Each campus follows the same curriculum structure and belongs to the same school community. View the other campuses:
PaRK International School is one of Lisbon's most distinctive private schools — an international school with genuine Portuguese roots, operating three purpose-built campuses across the city. The Praça de Espanha campus is dedicated to the youngest children, welcoming students from ages 1 through Grade 4 (up to age 8–9), in a central Lisbon location.
The school is part of Inspired Education Group, a global network of over 100 premium schools across 25 countries. This means students benefit from access to international exchange programmes, a globally-connected community, and shared academic resources — while studying in a school with deep local roots in Portugal.
At Praça de Espanha, children receive a bilingual (English + Portuguese) education from Early Years through Grade 4. The focus at this stage is on building strong bilingual foundations in a nurturing, small-class environment in the heart of Lisbon.
From Grade 5, students continue at the Alfragide campus, which hosts the full Cambridge and IB Diploma programmes through to Grade 12.

Frequently asked questions
How many campuses does PaRK International School have?
PaRK IS operates three campuses across Lisbon: Praça de Espanha (Early Years and Primary), Alfragide (the largest campus, all ages 1–18), and Restelo (all ages 1–18). All three campuses share the same curriculum structure and belong to the same school community within the Inspired Education Group.
Does PaRK IS offer the IB Diploma?
Yes — but only in the senior school (Grades 11–12), and at the Alfragide and Restelo campuses. The primary and middle school programme follows a bilingual foundation (Early Years–Grade 4) and then the Cambridge International pathway (Grades 5–10, including IGCSE). In the final two years, students can choose between Cambridge A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme.
What is the Inspired Education Group?
Inspired Education is a global network of over 100 premium schools across 25+ countries, educating more than 85,000 students. Being part of this group gives PaRK IS students access to international exchange programmes, global competitions, and guaranteed entry to Inspired boarding schools worldwide.
How much does PaRK International School cost?
At the Praça de Espanha campus, annual tuition ranges from €9,380 (Early Years) to €12,125 (Grades 1–4). Additional costs include an enrollment fee (€950–1,350), annual re-enrollment (€600–710), school bus (€2,390–2,528/yr), and lunch. For Grades 5–12 at Alfragide or Restelo, fees are higher — see those campus pages for details.
How strong are the academic results at PaRK IS?
PaRK IS publishes its IB Diploma results on the school website. The average score is 35 out of 45 — above the global IB average of around 30. 29% of students scored 38 or higher, and at least one student achieved the maximum possible score of 45. These are strong results for a school of this size and profile.
Is PaRK IS a good choice for families new to Portugal?
It depends on your plans. The bilingual English + Portuguese programme is excellent for families planning to stay in Portugal for several years and wanting their children to develop Portuguese to a high level. For shorter stays, a fully English-language school may be more practical. The school welcomes 50+ nationalities and has strong pastoral support for new arrivals.
