IPS Cascais British International School is one of the longest-established international schools in the Cascais area — founded in 1982 and now part of the Globeducate group, a network of 65+ international schools across 11 countries. The school follows the British National Curriculum from nursery through to Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, and serves around 440 students from over 40 nationalities.
The campus is purpose-built and eco-friendly, with basketball and tennis courts, a multipurpose sports field, outdoor learning areas, a library, and a 1,200m² multipurpose gymnasium and theatre currently under construction. Academic results are strong: 93% of students score above average in standardised English assessments, and 90% in Mathematics.
The after-school programme (VivaHUB) is one of the most comprehensive on offer in the area, covering sports, performing arts, coding, music, languages and craft activities. A new secondary campus is planned to open in September 2026, expanding provision for older students.
